They kick things off by talking KREAM (kids run everything around me) and Montreal being a creative hub before getting serious about art and commerce and whether the twain shall meet. The crew discusses economics in underserved communities, Miro breaks down his take on branding, and Markings talks the importance of sharing information. S02e21 gets personal yall! The episode opens with Mike sharing an opportunity for growth before he and Jay discuss processes in music since going solo and sober and Kanye’s latest musical offerings. They talk instruments, personas and why one might want one before Jay shares what rehab might teach him and trusting the process. They talk melancholy and then mental health and Jay’s process in addressing his before hitting Top of the Hour and answering some questions. Mike gives us some insight into what makes him sad, they talk things taking tolls, and Mike draws a pretty great analogy as to Jay’s reticence on social media. Jay hatches a bad plan for meeting girls in his building before sharing that he’s back with his lady oops and they workshop a podcast host to replace Akil. To close out they discuss Usher, Mike calls Jay out for being judgemental and they talk getting caught out there on twitter.

Any smooth chunes you hear while enjoying the episode you can thank him for. It kicks off with the Lasers running through some topic ideas before discussing penises at war and Jay’s black out. Everyone realizes that they have a guru, who they then pit against the other gurus in a spiritual freestyle battle over beats and KOLA shares his journey to positivity while Jay shares his journey to a possible but unlikely marketing gig. They cover Top of the Hour and answer deep stuff before weighing the pros and cons of working on the ocean and talking the relevance of the past to the present. Mike swears he has issues, Jay talks removing himself from a party and KOLA talks being a popular Montreal busker - good, bad and ugly. To close out the Lasers discuss the toll of emotional exhaustion and Jay tells a weird story about a dep-spute (dispute at a dep*) before KOLA performs a song. Lasers!

They start off by talking fraternities, where the Don’t Be Mad guys school the Lasers on university life, and the group picks sides on using coasters and Jay shares a sad(?) story that involves sex and christmas.  They discuss sexual proclivities, expanding personal horizons, and then the unfortunate turn of events that is Bill Cosby. The group breaks NDG down into parts and the Don’t Be Mad dudes share their hopes and dreams for their platform and teach the Lasers about anime.
