It’s getting personaaaal in episode 13, part 1 of a 2 part series chronicling for the most part Jay’s romantic comings and goings which just so happen to have taken a turn for the dramatic recently. They kick off with him sharing the misadventures that led to the end of more than one unhappy union before they talk the merits of couch sleeping and secret air in pull-out couches. Jay examines his choices, what he wants and why, before they hit Top of the Hour and run through some Q&A. Mike shares some insight into Jay’s problems and then into Kyle Korver’s basketball posture before they examine what actually constitutes locker room talk and how to have sex outside in the summer. They make jokes about outdoorsy trips and Mike makes Jay examine the underside of some of his ideas on relationships before KC invents a crazy bed concept.

In episode 6 of Lasers on the Ride Akil goes full curmudgeon and the guys welcome extended member of the Lasers, fellow Montreal rapper and old friend KC.  First, Action Bronson producers are dissected and then pitted against one another (Akil gives Harry Fraud the business and Mike laughs). Next, the Lasers talk pubic hair and their respective preferences in that regard, with Akil taking a strong stand on the matter and then making a shocking reveal.  Mike and KC broach the oft-disputed topic of organized religion and then KC reveals the psalms of Ash Ra, which are bonkers crazy. In this episode, the dudes from Lasers on the Ride discuss a series of topics, ranging from what exactly constitutes a freestyle nowadays to Brampton Ontario to porn company office dynamics (no Jim and Pam here). The matter of prostitutes arises, more specifically whether a man who frequents a prostitute can do so of sane mind and whether a woman can choose to prostitute herself of free and healthy spirit. Mike attempts to lead Akil to feminism and you decide whether it worked (it didn’t). The topic of why one artist might not support another artist is broached and two theories emerge, along with a bottomless pit of 'nahmeans' into which we fall. Jay poses what Mike concludes to be the hardest, most probing question of all time, and the name Jeremy Roenick is defamed, as it should be.
