S02e29 features Jay back to chat with Mike and oft-co host Markings about what’s happening aka the haps. Things kick off with Jay talking about his recent conversion to Islam and engagement to marry and the group explores Markings’ arrival to the podcast and Jay’s feels in that regard. They discuss weaponizing drugs and alcohol, compare and contrast Future and Young Thug and explore the inherent problems with sleep deprivation. They move on to Costco hot dogs, talk west coast beats and the hyphy sound taking over cali, and Mike disparages Guru. They workshop beard trying technology, talk Premier and then Jermaine Dupri and examine whether it’s wrong to watch true crime. To close out they talk different saxes, whether Jay has a Muslim name and final words should the world end. Lazzzzers!

Season 2, episode 8 brings bff of the show KC back into the mix! They start off with talk of Karl Malone, the Utah Jazz and then inevitably Mormons, before examining the Hot Boyz and questionable behaviour on the part of Baby. They discuss antiquated ideas of man code, having professional security and then general metro security and whether Jay offended someone’s dad at a party. Jay recalls a rapper who got got by ODB’s son, KC talks botoxing babies and Mike explains what a cherub is before conversation devolves entirely. Sexual preference comes up, Mike equates Dr Phil and his wife to Busta and Spliff Star looool and they discuss going viral. Jay and KC workshop Kanye rants but about Ernie Hudson from GhostBusters and KC gets political. To close out, they compare and contrast historical “geniuses”.

Happy Halloweenie! In episode 32 of Lasers on the Ride the Lasers discuss spooky racist Donald Trump and his spookier supporters, including that one friend of Akil’s. They talk marriage & cheating and Akil shares some antiquated views on relationships. Jay relays a haunted house experience and the Lasers create Lasers radio. Mike asks the question no one wants to ask or have asked, Akil workshops (in rather poor taste) Pedophilia Paradisia and audio violence breaks out between B Real and Big Boy the disc jockey. Jay closes out with MURRRDDDEEERRRRRR.

In this episode of Lasers on the Ride, the guys pontificate on Bob Barker’s particular brand of misogyny and then devise a plan to take over the game show industry. Mike shines when Jay raises Carmen Sandiego from the dead. Akil discovers that all new babies are treated like (baby) Jesus himself and then cautions against treating anyone like a monkey. The Lasers attempt to track down oft-forgotten early nineties icon Jamal from Ghost Writer, while Jay and Mike tackle the subject of hunting animals with the aid of drones and how nature can fight back (drone spirit!). Lastly a near-death Dave Brubeck leads the Lasers on a walk straight into the grave from either an elevator or just some good cookies.
